'SANG HYANG GANAPATI'
'Sang Hyang Ganapati' also called Ganesha, is a widely worshiped deity in the Hindu pantheon. Hindu sects worship him regardless of affiliations. Devotion to Ganesha is widely diffused and extends to Jains, Buddhists, and beyond India. His image is found throughout India and Nepal. Although he is known by many other attributes, Ganesha's elephant head makes him particularly easy to identify.
Ganapati is depicted in variety of styles, including India, Majapahit (Java), and many others.
Ganesha is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles and more generally as the Lord of Beginnings and the Lord of Obstacles,
patron of arts and sciences, and the deva of intellect and wisdom.
He is honoured at the beginning of rituals and ceremonies and invoked as the Patron of Letters during writing sessions.
Ganesha is popularly held to be the son of Shiva and Parvati, the Puranic myths give different versions about his birth. He may have been created by Parvati, or by Shiva and Parvati, or may have appeared mysteriously and was discovered by Shiva and Parvati.
We are Hindus often refer him as 'Sang Hyang Ganapati' and adored as our protector in every danger. In connection with the embodiment 'Sang Hyang Ganapati', Balinese Hindhu manifested in the form of Kamasan style classical painting.
In 2012, I realize 'Sang Hyang Ganapati' in a Kamasan style painting printed on a fabric that presented for completeness our temple ceremonies.
This painting depicts him as the god of destruction all the negative elements, so he called 'Sang Hyang Ganapati Murti' who has four arms, two of them holding 'Gada' (weapon of Lord Brahma) and 'Chakra' (weapon of Lord Vishnu).

'TAJEN'
'Tajen' (english : cockfighting) is a game that pitted two roosters in an arena. The game lasts until one of the rooster was defeat, escaped even to death.
'Tajen' comes from the balinese word 'Taji', is a small blade approximately 10 cm length, it's very sharp to kill a chicken.
'Taji' is strongly tied to one of the roosters' leg with a rope. Only the experts man can do it, because it requires expertise, so it doesn't harm spectators in 'Tajen' arena.
The game was followed by a crowd who usually bet in gambling that took place not far from the arena. Bets are held depends on the ability of gamblers, from betting at a low to a high.
Looking at this game sometimes I feel sorry to the roosters, because I'm sure they had no intention to hurt each other, let alone to kill. This was flood of pleasure from the gamblers. What do you think?
And I was only able to describe the 'Tajen' atmosphere to cartoon image that I created in 2003.

MATCHING MOLE
Matching Mole was a short-lived UK progressive rock band from the Canterbury scene best known for the song "O Caroline". Robert Wyatt formed the band in October 1971 after he left Soft Machine and recorded his first solo album The End of an Ear. He continued his role on vocals and drums and was joined by David Sinclair, of Caravan, on organ and piano, Phil Miller on guitar and Bill MacCormick, formerly of Quiet Sun, on bass. The name is a pun on Machine Molle, the French translation of the name of Wyatt's previous group Soft Machine.
Their first, eponymous album was released in April 1972, the bulk of which was composed by Wyatt himself, with the exception of "O Caroline" (a Dave Sinclair composition with lyrics by Wyatt about his recent breakup with girlfriend Caroline Coon) and Phil Miller's "Part Of The Dance". For their second album, Matching Mole's Little Red Record, released in November 1972 and produced by Robert Fripp of King Crimson, Sinclair was replaced by New Zealand-born keyboard player and composer Dave MacRae who had already played a guest role on the first album. This album was more of a team effort, with Wyatt concentrating on lyrics and vocal melodies and leaving the composing to his bandmates.
Matching Mole disbanded in late September 1972 immediately upon completion of a European tour supporting Soft Machine, with Sinclair and Miller going on to form the more successful Hatfield and the North. A new lineup - consisting of Wyatt, MacCormick, ex-Curved Air keyboardist Francis Monkman and jazz saxophonist Gary Windo - was due to record a third album in 1973. This was cancelled when Wyatt fell from a window in June 1973, and was paralysed from the waist down, and therefore unable to continue drumming.

'LINGGA & YONI'
In the Balinese language, 'Lingga & Yoni' means 'Purusha & Pradana', two different things ('Rua Bineda') ie, male ('lingga') and female ('yoni').
I tried to interpret these two different things to a Kamasan style painting, that finished in 2012.
Just wait, it's not in value of porn thing, but it is a work of art and the meaning of life. If this act does not happen, then there would be no life of all animals and humans across this earth's surface. This was inspired from a painting of Kamasan master painter, Nyoman Mandra. I think his idea was great and wonderful art.

'TELAGA TISTA' TEMPLE
Bali was known as the paradise island or the island of a thousand temples. Why is that? Since Bali is a small island with an area of 5.634 km2 is surrounded by temples. If you are traveling to the east of island, you will find the temple of 'Lempuyang Luhur'. This temple is located at the eastern end of the island (actually on the hill of 'Lempuyang'). In the southeast lies the 'Goa Lawah' temple, the south is 'Andakasa' temple, located at the southwest corner is temple of 'Uluwatu', in west side is 'Batu Karu' temple, the northwest is pretending 'Puncak Mangu' temple and in the north stand 'Ulun Danu' temple. The largest temple in Bali is 'Besakih' temple which took position in the middle. 'Besakih' temple is located in Besakih village, Rendang district of Karangasem regency.
I want to show about the existence of another temple located in Jungutan village, Bebandem distric of Karangasem regency, that is 'Telaga Tista' temple.
A front guard shrine that accompanied by frangipani (tropical trees) that is often planted in the temple courtyard for sanctity, the flowers are used for means of ceremony.
The highest shrine that facing south is 'Padmasana' or 'Sanggaran Agung' as palace of 'Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa' (the Almighty God) and accompanied by several shrines, they are 'Pangerurah' and 'Limas Sari' shrine. There are nine complex buildings standing on a green island.
Another shrines lies in the west side, used in 'tabas' stone material that obtained from lava rock surrounding areas. Temple constructions are always based on art sense. 'Tabas' stone as subject material done in beautiful art, and often packaged in carving form.
The green grass affects a broad impression of the temple area.
From macro to micro-planning has been laid out in this temple as well as artwork statue placement as detail complement. This picture showing an ape warrior as temple guard symbol.
The entire temples located in Bali and other places have great value philosophy, sacredness, uniqueness and different art, but stick to one purpose and that is Almighty God. We're as Hindus are obliged to preserve the sanctity and existence of those temples, as a result, we live in peace, tranquility and harmony with the universe.

Surrounded by lagoon, against of hill and trees background as well as green grass, the 'Telaga Tista' temple has a quiet, peaceful and cool atmosphere.
Normally a temple is surrounded by security boundary wall, but not to this temple that has peripheral lagoon instead.
The temple seems to lies in middle of the island. That was a great landscape design without prejudice to the temple authority. In the lagoon there are various kinds of freshwater fish that should not be lured.

EYE OF BUFFALO
One of the most amazingly mysterious sites that one can ever
witness from the Mother earth is in the heart of the Sahara Desert in Mauritania which looks like an eye (viewed from the top).
Due to this close significance that the place has come into the radar of various tourists as well as various scientists /geologists trying to find the reason of what led to the formation of such a thing.
If the zoom 1 we note, what form can you imagine?
According to my imagination, I see a buffalo head shape. The heart of the Sahara Desert in Mauritania as its eye.
God's creation really great, full of great art and mysteries. We are not able to describe the mysteries of this universe.

Arts, culture, religion and spiritual civilization are united in Bali. It was spread all over the world, that Bali has numerous special things that are not necessarily owned by other regions. Religion and art mingle in Balinese culture, resulting in a variety of work that is still preserved, such as painting and dance.
Balinese painting art has developed since the reign of the kings, as well as the art of dance.
Balinese dances' development are quite rapid, variety of modern dance has been created and it's often performed in great events.
No less important in Balinese dance is the religious element, and the show had to be done by certain people.
'Rejang Dewa' dance is one example of a religious dance, performed exclusively by virgin dancers. The dance movements are very simple yet progressive and agile, full flavor, inspiration & devotion to Hindu deities. We are as Hindu always give ritual to the entire universe in the form of art. It is performances held at the temple ('Pura'), dancing with a line encircling the temple yard at the time of the occurrence of an indigenous ceremony or ritual Hindu Dharma.
It's usually danced by 6 or more girls accompanied by Balinese special music called 'gamelan' or 'gong'. The dancers are dressed in a festive ceremony with lots of decorations.
In 13th of November 2012 we performed the ceremony 'Pemlaspasan & Rsi Gana' on 'Pura Penataran Tampuagan' in Karangasem regency. 'Rejang Dewa' dance was played at the ceremony, performed by my daughter and my nephews. Their appearance was good enough, agile and funny. I hope these children will be able to dance a variety of Balinese dances because that is our responsibility in cultural preservation.
'Rejang Dewa' dancer, that performed by 7 little girls. They are (from left to right) : Dian, Komang, Ayu Widia, Eta (my daughter), Luna, Ami, and Winda.

BHAGAVAD GITA
The Bhagavad Gita (The Song of the Bhagavan) is a 700-verse scripture that is part of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. This scripture contains a conversation between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide Lord Krishna on a variety of theological and philosophical issues.
Faced with a fratricidal war, a despondent Arjuna turns to his charioteer Krishna for counsel on the battlefield. Krishna, through the course of the Bhagavad Gita, imparts to Arjuna wisdom, the path to devotion, and the doctrine of selfless action. Bhagavad Gita upholds the essence and the theological tradition of the Upanishads. However, unlike the rigorous monism of the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita also integrates dualism and theism.
Here I would like to show one of my work that finished in 2011, entitled Bhagavad Gita.
This is Kamasan style painting (Balinese classical painting) that I sketch by Bamboo Wacom.
It's depict a conversation between Arjuna (on knees) and Krishna (standing) on a horse-drawn carriage before starting the war with the Kauravas. In this scene, Krishna explains the theological and philosophical issues, substantiating that Arjuna should not be hesitate to start the war. Lord Krishna says to Arjuna, "You should not be afraid to kill them, you are a tool for me to wipe out the crime". Thus Krishna indicates identity as Avatar of Vishnu (standing, incarnated behind Khrisna). Avatar of Vishnu described as a great giant that bring all weapons of the gods. This shows the power of him as Almighty God. Arjuna finally regain his confidence to stand up to fight against all the Kauravas (cousins of Arjuna) on Battle of Kurukshetra.
On the horse-drawn carriage, Arjuna puts the symbolic flag of Hanuman as his strength. According to story before the war, Hanuman had met the Pandavas and he promised always give strength to the Pandavas.
Two people squatting down are Twalen and Merdah. They are loyal devoted clowns to Pandavas. They described translate any spoken conversation of Krishna and Arjuna.

THE DIRTY MAC
The Dirty Mac were a one-time English supergroup consisting of John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Mitch Mitchell that Lennon put together for The Rolling Stones' TV special entitled The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. Recorded on 11 December 1968, this was the first time since the formation of The Beatles that Lennon, who was still in the group, had performed in public without them. The Dirty Mac recorded a rendition of the Lennon-penned Beatles track "Yer Blues" and then went on to back up Yoko Ono and violinist Ivry Gitlis on a track called "Whole Lotta Yoko" (essentially an extended blues jam on top of which Ono improvised free-form vocalizations). The name, thought of by Lennon, was a play on "Fleetwood Mac" who at that time were a very popular band in the United Kingdom. When asked what type of guitar amp Lennon would like to use for the performance his answer was "One that plays".
In 1996, The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus, the album of the event, was issued, concurrently with a home video of the event. The DVD issue followed in 2004.
Members :
Eric Clapton – lead guitar (from Cream)
John Lennon (as Winston Leg-Thigh) – vocals, rhythm guitar (from The Beatles)
Mitch Mitchell – drums (from The Jimi Hendrix Experience)
Keith Richards – bass (from The Rolling Stones)
Additional musicians :
Ivry Gitlis – violin
Yoko Ono – vocals on "Whole Lotta Yoko"

THE DEVIL
For me, childhood is a time of the most beautiful in this world. Lots of toys, favorite foods, and no less interesting are TV shows or video. As we have seen, cartoons is the most popular spectacle of children.
If I was asked, what kind of cartoons do you likes? then definitely I will answer: Walt Disney.
He greatly influenced my artistic soul in the sketch. Begins like watching cartoons series, I tried to imitate the characters that exist in the cartoons.
Finally, any scratches cartoon character I've tried, all lead to the Walt Disney's style.
Characters to be my next show is : 'The Devil' (done in 2009)
It was a black n white sketches, I did it by a pen.
I think there is still something missing, so I added the coloring on this devil.
At first I was confused, what color is right for him. I applied many alternative colors, and finally be like this ...
...and then the background (black). I like using the black one, as the color of the characters will be appearing.
What do you think about 'the devil' color comparison? I guess depending on your respective tastes.

NATIONAL HEALTH
Since adolescence, I really loved rock music especially the classic rock. This art was very influential on my psyche. I often share the experience with friends to form a band as an outpouring of love for rock music. Originally a simple rock stream like Creedence Clearwater Revival always accompany our association. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and lots of English, Italian and American R & B band that rise their sounds, making our ears hooked to accept it.
In the 70s, the development of rock music was divided into several streams, including progressive rock, psychedelic rock to jazz rock. One of the progressive wing band that I like is National Health.
Here is a brief overview of the National Health article I quoted from Wikipedia :
National Health were an English progressive rock band associated with the Canterbury scene. Founded in 1975, the band included members of keyboardist Dave Stewart's band Hatfield and the North and Alan Gowen's band Gilgamesh, the band also included guitarists Phil Miller and Phil Lee and bassist Mont Campbell as original members. The band was named after Stewart's National Health glasses. Bill Bruford (previously of Yes and King Crimson) was the initial drummer but was soon replaced by Pip Pyle. Campbell was replaced by Neil Murray and then John Greaves.
A frequently changing line-up, they toured extensively and released their first album, National Health in 1977. Although it was created during the rise of Punk, the album is characterised by lengthy, mostly instrumental compositions. Their second record Of Queues and Cures, which included Peter Blegvad (recitation on "Squarer For Maud") and Georgie Born (cello), is held as one of the best records ever on the Gnosis website. After the May 1981 death of Gowen, remaining members reconvened to record the album D.S. Al Coda, a set of compositions by Gowen, most previously unrecorded. The original albums and additional archival material have subsequently been released on CD.
Studio albums :
Other releases :
There is no harm if you try to listen one of their album, especially for those of you lovers of progressive rock.

THE KIDS...
I have wasted time today, turn on the computer....
Nothing interesting anymore.
So I could only stare whole of my room...
Suddenly my eyes look something tucked behind the box.
This is my old external storage...
Finally I find it and explore all the content.
Guess what I got...... THE KIDS...
I got it...
Oops...
I have wasted time today, turn on the computer....
Nothing interesting anymore.
So I could only stare whole of my room...
Suddenly my eyes look something tucked behind the box.

Finally I find it and explore all the content.
Guess what I got...... THE KIDS...
I got it...
Could you please advise the kids, do not interfere with the exercise...
Imagine...how's the farmers' reaction further?
Those images idea reminds me of 10 years ago, when I wanted to send them to the Bog Bog magazine, but not so. And now the idea was never published.
Many of them are still in my storage. Wish I could share later...

PERUBAHAN GAYA
Awal pembangunan
Perkembangan pembangunan
